Keeping natural vegetation in mind, Walker designed each hole differently by blending hazards flawlessly into the course. Bunkers complete with fingers and bays make every shot placement important. Having self-discipline to play conservatively on this Championship course is an invaluable trait.

Green Width 21 Yards
Green Depth 34 Yards

This dogleg left par 5 provides a solid opening hole. There are no hidden hazards, and a well-struck drive makes this hole reachable in two. This is definitely one of the better opportunities for birdie.

HOLE #2

Green Width 25 Yards
Green Depth 29 Yards

This long par 4 is demanding as evidenced by its #1 handicap rating. Most often, this hole plays into the prevailing wind, making this long approach shot even more difficult. Take your par and run.

HOLE #3

Green Width 20 Yards
Green Depth 29 Yards

This picturesque hole is the second shortest par 3 on the course. Pin placements of center or left invite
birdie opportunities, but beware of the back right position.

HOLE #4

Green Width 25 Yards
Green Depth 31 Yards

This difficult par 4 requires an accurate drive between two fairway bunkers leaving a short to mid-iron approach. The green is wide, but very shallow, placing a premium on club selection.

Green Depth 26 Yards

Our longest par 5 boasts a generous landing area for the tee shot and sweeping elevation changes. Since it is almost impossible to reach this green in two, a well-placed second shot that leaves a 100 yard approach is the best play. Beware of the bunker guarding the front of the green. Many personal bests have been shattered here.

Bring out your lumber for this tee shot! Your drive must carry uphill over an enormous bunker to a plateau fairway, leaving a long to mid-iron approach. The approach is downhill to a well-guarded green. Winds off the gulf make club selection tricky. Par is a great score.

Green Depth 38 Yards

This may be the most beautiful par 3 on the Emerald Coast. The tee shot requires a carry over water and bunkers. The prudent player will aim for the front right portion of the green, regardless of the pin placement.

HOLE #9

Green Width 20 Yards
Green Depth 28 Yards

This short par 4 demands accurate shotmaking from tee to green. An iron or fairway wood from the tee will stop short of the second wetland, leaving a mid to short-iron to this two-tiered green. If you are on the wrong tier, it will take all the imagination you can muster to two-putt this green.

Green Depth 31 Yards

Driver may not always be the play from this tee. The highest priority should be placed on finding the fairway short of the second fairway hazard. The approach shot may attack the flag in the middle and right positions, but the left pin placement is best left alone.

HOLE #11

Green Depth 31 Yards

A well-placed tee shot to the right center of the fairway leaves your approach shot open to any pin placement on this difficult green. Breaks on this green are subtle and most move toward the water.

HOLE #12

Green Width 21 Yards
Green Depth 32 Yards

A “ho-hum” par 5 when played with three relatively short but accurate shots to the green. Longer hitters can play a tee shot over the fairway bunkers bordering the right side of the fairway, leaving a long iron or fairway wood to the green. To get home in two, both shots must flirt with water and sand. It’s either “feast” or “famine”.

Green Depth 24 Yards

This par 3, the shortest at Regatta Bay, requires only a confident club selection and swing. The biggest downfall here is giving more credit than is due to the high-lipped bunker guarding the front portion of the green. Trust the yardage given and aim at the flag.

Green Depth 35 Yards

This par 4 is the shortest on the course, making pars plentiful. For most, an iron or fairway wood is the proper selection from the tee to avoid hitting into the mogels. From the mogels, this kidney-shaped green is difficult to hold, but from the short-cut, the proper club selection can give a good opportunity for birdie.

HOLE #15

Green Depth 31 Yards

This heavily-bunkered par 3 is often played with swirling winds. Since a missed green here almost assures a difficult bunker shot, always aim for the center of the green. Par is a great score.

HOLE #16

Green Width 23 Yards
Green Depth 32 Yards

One of the toughest par 4s at Regatta Bay. With water left, out of bounds right and a marsh area crossing the fairway, the tee shot must be carefully planned. The green is inviting, bunkered only on the left, enabling run-up shots to get close.

HOLE #17

Green Width 28 Yards
Green Depth 30 Yards

This par 4 has no surprises. Any tee shot finding the short cut leaves a good approach to the green. Pin placements of middle or right can be challenged for birdie. Show respect for the back left placement, as a bunker guards the front, and any ball over the green is likely to leave a difficult pitch.
